As project manager I take the preparation of a project very seriously, since this effort pays of in the execution, because we know what we are going to do. I am convinced that the early involvement the project manager in the project life cycle is a key successfactor. Early in my book is, when we start writing the Business Case. I have ample experience in building and reviewing Business cases that includes the stakeholder’s interests and expectations.

I do not like loose ends, re-doing work or taking unneccasary detours. In my project manager role I point the team members towards the end user needs and I challenge assumptions, designs and test plans to assure my team members keep the customer in focus. I use participatory decision making workshops to electrify my team’s creativity and allow each expert to contribute to the project outcome.

During the project life cycle I employ a well balanced mix of proven methodologies to succesfully set-up and execute a project based upon the Business Case goals.
When it comes down to the nitty gritty. I have ample experience in managing procurement engagements, large ICT Infrastructure projects, cloud implementation projects, including management of change and aligning loose projects into one portfolio.
